Our Philosophy

PARTNERSHIP

TrīDevī's Global Community Collective (GCC) is an initiative to harness fruitful partnerships with small communities and family businesses that we have met along our travels. We agree upon fair prices in exchange for their artisanal excellence. Together, we bring one-of-a-kind offerings, support artisans and provide an international platform that celebrates craftsmanship. Our GCC is continuously developing more streamlined business systems.

Some items within the GCC initiative are our incenses and botanical body massage oils. The incenses are hand rolled and perfume oils blended by a single family of 3rd generation artisans located in Mysore, India. Our botanical body massage oil is masterly crafted by a small, women-operated business in Monterrey, Mexico, focusing on nourishing and natural ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

We mindfully source organic, sustainable ingredients and supplies from Black and Brown owned vendors who align with our ethos. Building relationships in support of small businesses and circulating abundance within the community is the key ingredient to the offerings of TrīDevī.

PACKAGING

We put as much thought into our packaging as our ingredients. We are committed to eco- friendly, recyclable packaging that is functional, beautiful and re-useable. Featured materials include glass, jute and metal. We choose not to label any of our eco-friendly shipping materials to encourage re-purposing. We worked closely with our incense artisans to move away from plastics and designed packaging that is unique and gorgeous. This extends outwards in support of another artisan who handcrafts the paper used to wrap each incense bundle.

OUR FOUNDER

The Visionary of TrīDevī, Geeta Khanna, lives her life with the fundamentals that intention, prayer and love can magnify the energy of any offering whether it be a gift, the food you eat or the community you serve.

Her vast worldly travels of nomadic quests began a journey of connecting with artisans, small family run businesses and community initiatives. Not only did these travels and people shape her connection to a global community but also lend a source of constant inspiration into her own creations.

Many of the TrīDevī's offerings are extensions of Geeta welcoming you into her home. Sharing small pieces of her heart, expressions of creativity and warm hospitality. Serving hot chai with an artfully presented plant based dessert, sharing knowledge on treasures she collected, nurturing herbal remedies, guided yoga/meditation sessions or stories from her adventures is a familiar experience to guests she lovingly welcomes into her Brooklyn home coined 'the sanctuary'.

The name TrīDevī flows with essence of the 3 primordial Hindu goddesses, Kali, Lakshmi and Saraswati. Embodying abundance, prosperity, beauty, knowledge, fierceness, spirit, honesty, compassion, courage, elegance, intelligence and art.

Through the grace and flow of the divine feminine, we are humbled to be on this journey together of building community based on support, connection and purpose.
